Instrument unit
The complete set of the air balloon includes an instrument unit. Operation, storage and maintenance of the unit must be performed in accordance with the operational manual for the unit. The owner (Operator) must use the instrument unit, comprising an altimeter and a variometer.
Drop line
The drop line is intended for mooring the air balloon after landing (if required), and in abnormal procedures.
First aid kit
In the air balloon the same kind of first aid kit is used as in a car.
Fire extinguisher
Powder-type fire extinguisher with a mass of extinguishing agent of 2 kg is installed
Manifold
A is a T-connector with two pipes and a pipe connector at the end (similar to the connector of the cylinder). The manifold is intended for connection of two cylinders to one burner of the burner unit.
Release mechanism
Release mechanism is intended for prevention of premature take-off of the air balloon and release of the balloon before take-off
.
Pilot restraint harness
The pilot restraint harness provides restraint for the pilot during the air balloon landing. The harness can be adjusted to any size of the pilot. The harness provides free movement of the pilot in the basket. In the EU the use of the pilot restraint harness is obligatory for partitioned baskets.
Burner support rod covers are intended for covering support rods, basket wires and hoses of the burner unit.
Attaching strap for cylinders. Each cylinder requires two straps.
Other parts used in flight
The following parts, included into the air balloon set, are used:
- burner support rods for installation of the burner unit on the basket;
- pilot’s bags and other parts.
