Concealing, alongside with knockoff, is one of the main elements of camouflage. A combined use of concealing and knockoff considerably increases survivability of weaponry and defense equipment.
SPE «RUSBAL» is taking great efforts to develop and supply of means of concealing:
Camouflage screens are intended for concealing large-size equipment, such as ground-to-air and tactical missile launchers. The camouflage screens by SPE «RUSBAL» differ from the previously developed ones by better concealing properties, a more rapid mounting (3…30 minutes) and a possibility of immediate deployment. Camouflage screens can be supplied with optical and radar coating..
«Butterfly» concealing element sets are intended for mobile machinery, including big-size vehicles. «Butterfly» concealing element sets allow changing position without dismounting the elements and make possible for the machinery to move at a speed of 40 km/h. «Butterfly» element sets conceal the defense equipment in visible, thermal and radar bands.
Inflated shelters, as means of camouflage, are intended for concealing the number of equipment units at the place of basing and concealing their technical condition. For instance, the presence or absence of fighter or ground-attack aircraft at their basing sites, or operational availability after scheduled and unscheduled repairs. Inflated shelters can be used as a countermeasure against foreign technical intelligence services during development and trials of new technological items, when it is necessary to conceal specific features of the items under development. The inflated shelters can be delivered both in radar transparent and nontransparent versions. It does not take more than 2 hours to mount or dismount a 20m-wide inflated shelter.
Imitation masks are intended for concealing defense equipment and making a defense item look like a civil object
